The Burin Gold Project is a large landholding in the underexplored Avalonian terrane on the Burin Peninsula, Newfoundland host to several known high-sulphidation epithermal showings. The Company owns a commanding position in the belt covering 159 km2 of the most prospective showings in the district.
This underexplored belt displays geological similarities to the past producing Hope Brook deposit (11.2 Mt at 4.54 g/t Au), limited historical exploration by previous explorers creates a compelling opportunity for the discovery of Newfoundland’s next multi million-ounce gold system.
Our flagship project, Hickey’s Pond, is the one of many underexplored showings including Tower and additional regional targets.
The Project has excellent infrastructure with access from the Burin Highway access from tide water, nearby 138 kV power line and 8 proximal MW hydro-electric station and substation close to the project. The project also benefits from having no scheduled salmon rivers near to the main licence block
